John Seibold Sr. founded Seibold Security in 1979 and has guided the company through its many phases and pivots since the company’s inception. His dare to be different attitude has taken Seibold Security down a number of diverse paths that have helped separate the company from other competitors in the space. Whether early adopting new technologies, experimenting with different service methodologies, or simply empowering his team to make fair and reasonable decisions, Seibold has always pushed the envelope in the spirit of putting the customer first.
John displays a fierce loyalty towards his customers and believes in always doing the right thing for a client, even if that negatively impacts the bottom line in the short run. His business philosophies have led to life long customer relationships, some of which span over 30 years, while others continue to recommend Seibold at each of their respective career stops.

While John has turned the company over to his two sons (John Jr. and Tim), he still remains very active in the business as company Chairman and loves rolling up his sleeves to assist with anything from integration design and project management to meeting with existing customers to ensure they are happy with their products and Seibold provided services.
Even after more than 45 years in the industry and as Seibold Security approaches it’s 40th anniversary, John is still looking forward. He’s particularly excited about the emerging Robotics technology and how that will shape the future of the industry.
When he’s not hanging out at HQ, John enjoys spending quality time with his wife, 3 kids, and numerous grandchildren. He also enjoys golf, Clarkson Hockey, model trains, and antique cars.
